Welcome

Welcome to my blog, DocMentation!

And just in case you think I can’t spell; Mentation is, according to the dictionary, the process of using your mind to consider something carefully.

In other words – thinking!

I read somewhere that we all have about 12,367 thoughts every day. Don’t ask me how they worked that out, but it’s a lot of thinking. I’m only going to give you half that, well maybe one thought every couple of days.

It was Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company, who said – ‘Thinking is the hardest work there is, that’s why so few people do it.’

So, I’m going to put my feet up on the desk, have a coffee and a muffin, and so some hard work thinking!

Please feel free to comment on any of my “mentation”. But be nice, praise and flattery will get you anywhere, and I’m very sensitive to criticism.

Okay, you can criticise, but no bad words: I know where you live!

I have regular email conversations with my friends around the world (yes I do have some) and they tell me they love my thoughts and stories. They’re terrible liars, and that’s why I love them.

The only thing is, when I email them with an update on my exciting life, I mostly forget what I’ve told them before. So this blog is for them also.

I’ll give all the updates on my sex life, the wild drunken parties I’ve had with Hollywood superstars, and what happened this morning when I took the dog for a walk. Well maybe it’ll be more about the third part.

Hope you find it fun, interesting and inspirational or at least one of these.

So go check out the blog; click where it says –‘Follow this blog or else’ and you’ll never miss my mentation.

Now, if you’re at work, go back to sleep till it’s going home time. And if you’re at home; what are you doing there? The pubs, bars, and clubs are still open.

Take your medication and get out there.

Have fun!

Alan
